New PolyMax® Grow Tubes from Growers Supply offer an Efficient Growing System

Dyersville, IA—January, 2010—New PolyMax Grow Tubes from Growers Supply are reusable growing media that are proven to increase growing yield and improve plant health while reducing crop maintenance, labor, and food safety concerns. Simply fill tubes with compost material, lay on any surface, seed, and water – it is that easy.

Grow Tubes are available in two types of material: Polyester, which offers smaller, tighter mesh that is ideal for weed suppression and sustaining irrigation systems, and HDPE, which is constructed from a resilient, open mesh fabric that makes it easy to seed. Both materials are available in 5", 8" and 12" diameters.

The tube's modular design will fit any space, and is completely scalable, making it easy to move and maintain. Place on ground cover to further suppress weeds while allowing air and nutrients to circulate throughout tubes. Grow Tubes make it easy to plant and maintain hundreds of crops, including berries, tomatoes, lettuce, herbs, peppers and flowers, in urban areas, areas with poor soil conditions, or large commercial operations.

Growers Supply also offers manual or machine fillers, to quickly and easily fill up to 150' of Grow Tube in only 10 minutes. Simply scoop compost, soil or other filler into machine, fill tubes, and place in rows.
