Another summer is here, and that means it's time for Growers Supply's annual Photo Contest. We like hearing feedback from our customers, but we love getting pictures of our products in use. Do you have a picture of one of our structures in a scenic setting? How about a new or unusual product application that you've been using? No matter what it is, we want your interesting and unique pictures featuring Growers Supply products, so submit your photos to our 2014 Photo Contest.
To enter all you have to do is submit at least three high-quality photos of your Growers Supply products in use and describe what is depicted in the photos. We ask that you please send the highest-resolution images possible (300 dpi digital images), and if you've used a digital camera the pictures will most likely meet these requirements. Just submit your photos in your camera's original file format (.jpeg, .tiff, .png).
When you submit your photos, make sure to share your Growers Supply experience with us! Let us know how our products have benefited your business, garden or home, how the ordering process worked for you or if you've made any modifications to our products. You may find your testimonial and photos featured in our catalog!
What could I win?
At the conclusion of the Contest, the best submission will receive a $500 gift certificate, first runners-up will each receive a $200 gift certificate and honorable mentions will receive Growers Supply Dot Grip Gloves!
Who is eligible for this contest?
This Contest is open to Growers Supply customers 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees of Growers Supply, or its affiliated or subsidiary companies, and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of such persons, are not eligible to enter the Contest. Contest is governed by the laws of the U.S.A. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited.
How can I enter this contest?
Participants are required to read the full rules before submitting an entry. All entries must include the following: entrant's name, mailing address, daytime telephone number, email address, digital images/color prints and brief description or testimonial. Entries must not infringe the copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity or other intellectual property rights of any person or entity. All entries become the property of Growers Supply. We reserve the right to use your entry in all print and electronic media.
What are you looking for in winning photos?
Each participant must submit at least three high-quality photos. We are looking for striking images of products purchased from Growers Supply. These images should show the product in use. We ask that you send the highest resolution images possible (300 dpi digital images). Our judges are interested in seeing photos taken from different angles, as well as close-up and wide angle shots. For inspiration, please see our previous years' winning photos. Submit your files in your digital camera's original file format (i.e., .jpeg, .tiff, .png). Photographs should not contain distinguishing marks (i.e. time-day stamp, name, copyright).
How will Growers Supply use the photos I submit?
If your photo(s) is selected, Growers Supply will post your photograph(s) to our websites. In addition, Growers Supply may feature your photograph(s) in our print catalog and other marketing communications such as, but not limited to, magazine advertisements. Accordingly, by submitting a photograph(s) in the Contest, you acknowledge and agree that Growers Supply shall have the right (without limitation or further compensation) to edit, adapt, modify, reproduce, publish, promote, display and otherwise use your entry in any way it sees fit, including the right to publish your entry online and in print, as described herein.
How will the contest be judged?
A panel of judges, selected at the sole discretion of Growers Supply, will select winners based on the following criteria: photo uniqueness, product usage and photo quality. Judges' decisions are final.
When will winners be notified?
Each winner will be notified by email (at the email address from which his or her entry was submitted) on October 21, 2014. Winners will be required to complete a publicity release (except where prohibited by law) which must be returned within ten (10) business days. Winning entries will be announced on www.Growers Supply.com no later than October 31, 2014.
What are the conditions?
Entries are eligible for judging only once—prior year entries may not be re-submitted. By participating in the Contest, winners agree to have their name, voice or likeness used in any advertising or broadcasting material relating to this contest without additional financial or other compensation, and, where legal, to sign a publicity release confirming such consent prior to acceptance of the prize. By participating, the entrant agrees to abide by and be bound by these rules. Growers Supply is not responsible for lost, late, or unintelligible entries, lost connections, miscommunications, failed transmissions, other technical difficulties or failures. Growers Supply reserves the right to make changes in the rules of the Contest including the substitution of a prize or prizes of equivalent value, which will become effective upon announcement. Failure to comply with the Contest rules may result in a contestant's disqualification solely at the discretion of Growers Supply.
